About WASA World Architecture Student Award Competition​

The WASA World Student Architecture Awards aims to provide an outlet for architecture students, discover the capabilities of designers, and improve their design skills. In addition, we will develop a system called "GAAS" that will enable objective evaluation by collecting design designs from around the world and conducting advanced analysis. WASA will be judged using the developed "GAAS". After the judging, we aim to issue a certificate of performance with an advanced analysis of the designers' capabilities to all applicants, making it a meaningful competition for all applicants. *For more information, please check the link below. About Sponsorship
About WASA World Architecture Student Award Competition​

The WASA World Architecture Student Award is run by a volunteer group of the WASA World Architecture Student Award Executive Committee of the architecture student group KENKOMI. Due to globalization, the competition is run completely online, and we are responsible for the annual operating costs of 305,000 yen (WASA2023 competition budget reference) for web editing costs, international mailing, supplies such as certificates, prize money, etc. WASA is a competition that has attracted attention through lectures and research presentations, and has the power to reach out from all over Japan to the world. We are looking for companies that can take advantage of this power to reach out and sympathize with our activities to liven up the competition together. We would appreciate your consideration.

​Recruiting companies

We have established guidelines to ensure that sponsoring companies can achieve satisfactory advertising effects. For companies that meet the following criteria, we will consider effective promotional methods together with the WASA Executive Committee. Please read through and understand and agree to the guidelines. - Companies and organizations that understand and support WASA's activities. - Companies and organizations related to architecture, urban design, interior design, and art. - Promotional content must be relevant and appropriate for WASA applicants and viewers. - Do not restrict or monopolize the entry of other sponsoring companies, except for global top partners and top partners.

​Recruiting companies

■Application period: July 1, 2024 to August 1, 2024
■Advertising period: August 1, 2024 to December 1, 2024 (4 months) *The WASA competition will be held throughout the year. Promotion is expected to be for the six months from August to December, when access to the web is concentrated. *Sponsoring companies that have continued from the previous year and companies that signed contracts before June will be posted early. *Even if the application period has passed, sponsoring companies can still sponsor if requested. *The pages will basically be archived after the event. Sponsored logos, company names, links, etc. will be posted after the event. In addition, the layout may be changed or deleted after the event. Thank you for your understanding.

Application flow

STEP.01, Consultation and explanation
※ Communication will be mainly via email, but online and face-to-face meetings in the Kanto area are also available.
STEP.02, Selection of sponsorship level (grade). Confirmation of promotion method and cost. Submission of company name, logo data, etc.

STEP.03, WASA issues a memorandum and concludes it with consent.
※ If there is a memorandum from the sponsoring company, it will be a two-way agreement.

STEP.04, Transfer of sponsorship money → Once you receive the transfer completion email from WASA, the application process is complete.
※ After the process is complete, we will send you a confirmation email to confirm that the tournament and promotion are proceeding normally.

Global Top Partner
For companies that are willing to fully support the WASA tournament, we will actively cooperate with the tournament and aim to directly promote the tournament according to the needs of the company. We will work with the company to create a fulfilling tournament by implementing special projects.

【A】Special Projects

Implementation of special projects in collaboration with the WASA conference and creation of dedicated web pages.

【B】Distribution of Promotional Materials

Mailing promotional materials such as pamphlets and catalogs to domestic and international applicants along with the conference pamphlet and certificates.

【C】Pamphlet Advertising

Two-page A4 spread advertisement in the pamphlets, both printed and digital, sent to domestic and international applicants.

【D】Email Advertising

Advertisement at the bottom of the monthly emails sent to applicants, including images and URLs.

【E】Web Advertising

Display of your company name and logo in the Official Partner section of the official conference website's sponsor list, with the option to include a URL link.

Sponsorship Fee: ¥400,000

This includes advertising creation, publication, and mailing costs.

Platinum Partner
 We will promote your company continuously for six months along with the tournament information emails sent by WASA every month. We will also send you promotional materials along with the WASA brochure by mail.

One-page A4 advertisement (single-sided) in the pamphlets, both printed and digital, sent to domestic and international applicants.

Gold Partner
WASA will send you promotional materials along with the brochure and certificate of results that will be mailed to you at the end of the event.The official tournament website will provide a space for promotion in addition to your company name

Official Partner
 On the official WASA tournament website, we have set up a space for companies to not only display their company names but also to promote themselves, allowing them to participate in supporting the tournament.

Inclusion of your company name and logo in the pamphlets, both printed and digital, sent to domestic and international applicants.

Display of your company name and logo in the Official Partner section of the official conference website's sponsor list, with the option to include a URL link for promotions.

【A】Special project implementation

We will create a dedicated webpage and collaborate with the WASA conference to connect companies with applicants and viewers.

Details:

  • During meetings, we will listen to the company’s requests and propose promotions through the WASA operations team.

  • We will swiftly adjust advertisements and web designs according to the company's needs.

  • Promotions requiring changes to the privacy policy or copyright policy will fall under special projects. We will carefully consider promotion methods to ensure a meaningful conference for all participants.

Examples of Special Projects:

  • Promote events, products, or recruitment information through a dedicated project webpage.

  • Create company awards, allowing companies to choose works from the award-winning works display page and include their logo and comments. Special awards will be granted.

  • Conduct branding through review comments, general comments, and voting by the company.

  • Conduct promotions in strategic locations on the conference overview page, the works display page, and the conference results page.

  • Add mandatory questionnaire sections from the company to the entry and voting forms.

【B】Mailing Promotional Materials

We will mail your company's promotional materials, such as brochures and catalogs, to domestic and international applicants along with the competition pamphlet and certificates.

  • The printed materials (pamphlets, etc.) should total 300g per package, A4 size, and have a thickness of 150mm.

  • Corporate novelties or commemorative items should also total 300g per package, A4 size, and have a thickness of 150mm.

  • Both pamphlets and corporate novelties or commemorative items can be included in the package.

  • Please send your complete set of mailing materials to the competition office via cash on delivery. We will include them in the packages sent to each applicant.

  • Direct mailing from your company to applicants is possible. However, due to privacy policy considerations, we recommend considering the Global Top Partner option.

  • The mailing period is from December 1 to January 1. This period may change due to delays in competition operations.

Pamphlet Advertising

We will include your company's advertisement in the pamphlets and digital brochures mailed to both domestic and international applicants.

  • Pamphlet and Digital Brochure: Your company's advertisement will be prominently displayed in the physical pamphlets and digital brochures sent to all applicants.

Submission Details:

  • Ad Format: Please send your advertisement data in PDF or JPEG format to the email address "zenkokukenkomi@gmail.com".

  • Submission Deadline: The deadline for submitting advertisement data is May 1, 2024.

  • Mailing Period: December 1 to January 1. The period may change due to delays in the tournament's schedule.

    • Position: The inside of the front cover, immediately visible upon opening the cover. The most prominent placement.

This tiered approach allows you to select the placement that best fits your visibility and budget needs.

【D】Email Advertisement Placement

Email Advertisement Placement

Your advertisement will be placed at the bottom of the email messages sent to applicants each month.

  • Ad Specifications: Your ad should be brief, up to approximately 100 characters (about 10 lines), and can include a URL link. Please send the advertisement text and any URL links to "zenkokukenkomi@gmail.com".

  • Submission Deadline: The deadline for submitting advertisement data is May 1, 2024.

  • Sending Details: Due to Google's simultaneous sending limit (300 emails per day), emails may be sent over several days.

  • Placement: Ads will be positioned after the main event information and before the event signature section in the email footer. Please note that multiple advertisements may appear consecutively.
